Skills and Competencies

Must Haves:

• Programming experience in Python, C/C++.
• Experience with database systems and SQL.
• Knowledge of Linux and bash.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience working in an agile team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in remote Linux environments.
• Cloud experience: AWS or Google.
• Experience writing regression/integration tests.
• Experience with Postman and using APIs.
• Experience with Git or other version control system.

Education

• Degree or equivalent experience in any Science or Engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Improve news and other unstructured data processing in C/C++.
• Work on internal tools used to maintain data related to unstructured data processing.
• Help to automate the process of increasing the number of organizations recognized.
• Improve code that recognizes people and locations in unstructured data.
• Help to create an automated CI/CD pipeline for software and data delivery.
• Collaborate within an agile team environment, embracing continuous learning and fast iteration.
• Maintain and improve existing software while documenting enhancements and updates clearly.
• Apply he above techniques to any other kind of unstructured data
