Job Title: Senior QA Tester

Location: Remote (LATAM) Duration: 10 Weeks (Contract)

About the Project:

We are seeking experienced Senior QA Testers to join our team for a critical 10-week project. Our development team has completed initial testing of the new Orion version on PostgreSQL, transitioning from B-tree indexing. Given the applications legacy Delphi code, we require thorough QA certification of the new database option to ensure stability, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate Orions functionality on PostgreSQL.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to identify and document defects.
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure smooth transition from B-tree.
• Validate data integrity, query performance, and compatibility within the legacy Delphi environment.
• Provide detailed QA certification of the new database option, ensuring full compliance with business and performance requirements.
• Proactively identify risks and recommend improvements to the QA strategy and test coverage.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on databases and legacy systems.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and database testing methodologies.
• Experience working with Delphi applications is a strong plus.
• Proven track record of working on fast-paced, deadline-driven projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams across US & LATAM.
